Shirin Sabri is a poet and writer, currently working as a teacher of History and Literature in English at
Townshend International School in the Czech Republic. Her poems have been published in The Bahá’í World, in Canadian Bahá’í Studies monographs, Imago and Poetry Australia. Her essay, "The Purpose of Poetry," was published in the Journal of Bahá’í Studies Vol.1, no.1. Her children’s fantasy novel, The Pinckelhoffer Mice was published by Oneworld in 1992. She has lived in Papua New Guinea, Israel, Cyprus, England, Australia and the Czech Republic.
