Shirin Sabri is a poet and writer, currently working as a teacher of History and Literature at Townshend
International School in the Czech Republic. Her poems have been published in The Bahá’í World, in Canadian Bahá’í Studies monographs, Imago, Poetry Australia, and, more recently in the Journal of Bahá’í Studies. Her essay, “The Purpose of Poetry,” was published in the Journal of Bahá’í Studies
Vol.1, no.1. Her children’s novel, The Pinckelhoffer Mice, was published in 1992, and her children’s history, The Incomparable Friend: The Life of Bahá’u’lláh Told in Stories in 2006. She is currently a contributing poet to the Choral Tales Project.
