Caitlin Johnson Castelaz was raised in Kansas City and resides in New York City, where she works
as a writer and editor. Her poems have appeared in Chiron Review, Coal City Review, and others. She is the founding editor of Vahid, an annual Bahá’í-inspired literary magazine now in its third year. Serving as an editor at NineteenMonths.com, she runs “95 Words,” an online poetry project that challenges writers to compose short works inspired by their reading of sacred texts.
