One Month After Returning From China

Elinor Mattern is a member of the Bahá’í Faith, and teaches Literature and Creative Writing at Atlantic Cape Community College in Mays Landing, New Jersey. Her poems and non-fiction have appeared in journals and newspapers including Washington Square, Without Haloes, Footwork: Paterson Literary Review, Tiferet, Orison, and the Philadelphia Inquirer. She received her MFA in Writing from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and was the recipient of the Director’s Award in Poetry.
