Born in South Korea, Therese Young Kim studied English and Literature in Kyung-hee University in
Seoul and worked at Lufthansa ticketing office for four years before coming to America. She worked as an interpreter for over 25 years in New York while writing poems and stories, now with her novel in completion, Nayoung’s Journey. Her stories and poems have been published in Korean journals,
Infinity, Rosebud, Poetry Pacific, and recently in Tuck Magazine. She has attended literary workshops and conferences, such as, Juniper Summer Writing Conference, Wesleyan Writers Conference. She lives in New York City.
